Efficient and effective production of existing field assets are often one of the most cost effective ways to add to a company’s bottom line.
Good production practices can maximize recovery and thus directly affect PDP reserves. Unfortunately many companies still operate in a
reactionary mode…isolating and resolving problems AFTER they occur. The ensuing time delay can result in lost production, lost profit,
and potential damage to the reservoir. |

such as production volumes, temperatures, and testing cycles, and then compare them against expected performance parameters. Measurements can be made at a wellbore, well, field, business unit or any other logical measuring point. End users can monitor parameters specific to their job function as well as asset team and business unit level monitoring. |
| Monitoring parameters can be logically combined to create a composite measure. For example – “Don’t alert me unless gas production goes down and water production goes up”. Customized alerts are generated for each end user providing timely insight into potential problems and initiating workflows to determine solutions. |
| As with all petroWEB solutions, the PS&O Extension can be scaled to address the largest of clients with tens of thousands of wells. Additionally, PS&O can be further customized by the end client to address business unit or field specific measurement requirements. |
