The Energy and Geoscience Institute (EGI) at the University of Utah sponsors the EGI Associates Program whereby international petroleum companies support research and technology transfer through an annual subscription. One of the primary benefits is access to the expanding on-line global database. The EGI database contains geological, geophysical, and geochemical data collected over the Institute's 25 years history of conducting research projects around the world. In  addition EGI offers a variety of instructional services, short courses and seminars.
