DEAL is a free, public, web-based service, designed to promote and facilitate access to data and information relevant to the exploration and production of hydrocarbons on the UKCS (United Kingdom Continental Shelf).

Available to the public via the Internet, DEAL is the premier source of quality spatial and attribute data for the UKCS.

DEAL aims to provide a full national catalogue of UKCS geoscience data, pointing users to the source of data of interest. Through DEAL, users can access networked repositories of UKCS geoscientific data as a single unified data resource.
